I have been using the trailfire extension for firefox. Its one of the better add ons for firefox or the windows browser. Essentially someone creates a link dump and the plugin lets you follow the links like a web ring. The cool thing is it allows you to leave comments on the created trails. You can leave comments for each site in a trail you have created or other users can leave comments in addition. Also it allows you to link the locations on the trail in a logical order.

I have made some trails pertaining to my interest and the contents of this site. Even if you have do not have an interest in installing the extension you can still see the collect of links here. It is good reference and can work like a bookmark if you like.
