Think of it this way: footnotes = less to read, so you’re actually going from page to page faster.

I have to confess did a poor job of reading the paper. I skimmed a little. Any time the foot notes climb past the half way point of the page you know it not exactly going to read like a good beach book. Still I found it interesting.

I hope you don’t have to read the other ten zillion papers. I don’t think I could take to many papers monetary policy or the like.

Of course we only have about ten papers classified under “music”, and about ten zillion papers under legal and economic topics.
